While a version by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is a part of the film’s official soundtrack, Salman Khan later recorded the song in his voice, which has become quite popular of late. Arijit Singh’s version was promptly dropped.Now, Salman bhai has publicly responded to rumours that it was he who insisted that Arijit’s version be not used. He clarified that the producers took the final call on the singer.In a recently held event, Salman Khan said, “In every movie, there are lots of singers who are replaced. People come and sing. Its directors and producers who then make the choice that who would be the best voice for the film. One voice was mine as well, my voice was also rejected. They shouldn’t be upset, its life.”Taking a dig at Arijit Singh’s facebook post, Salman added, “And then come those smart comments and posts. So the intention is understood why it has been written.”Jag Ghoomeya is a traditional, rustic love track on the lines of Dabangg’s Tere Mast Mast Do Nain.
